Pneumatic expanding shaft with axial movement is a solution with many possibilities for rewind and unwind in cantilever applications.
By turning a knob at the front of the shaft, it is possible to adjust the coil with a lateral movement of ±15mm.
To guarantee both stability and lightness, the shaft is made of an steel journal, an aluminium central body with strips in rubber, aluminium or food grade PU, depending on the customer's needs.
Nickel-plating or anodizing treatments are available according to application.
The design is customized to match customer's requirements. The air supply for the pneumatic system is normally via rotary union through the support journal. It can also be supplied from the front via a valve.
