Expanding shafts with keys are specially designed for single coil use, all cases where considerable expansion is required and especially suitable for high torques applications.
The unique air chamber locking system allows the kit to be replaced quickly and without the use of special equipment.
Expansion is obtained by inflating a single rubber tube which, when inflated, pushes the keys outwards, allowing the coil to be locked.
The expanding keys air shaft are made up of two parts: the table, which is the central expandible section, made of machined steel tube, and the journals, always made of steel and according to the specific needs and drawing from customer.
We manufacture expandable shafts for the most common core Ø sizes between Ø1" and Ø12", although we can manufacture and provide any size, material, type of keys, journals and treatment suitable for each particular application.
